Your body is designed to move

Many office workers spend most of their day in one position carrying out repetitive tasks.

The human body is designed to move, so sitting still all the time is not good for us.

What to do:

Alternate your tasks

Alternate computer and telephone use or get up from your desk to speak to a colleague in person.

Maintain good posture

Don’t slump and slouch.

Take some breaks

Get up from behind your desk at least once every hour.

Get some fresh air

Try to get out of the office every day for some fresh air.

Listen to your body

Aches and pains are your body’s way of telling you something is wrong. Make an appointment with your physiotherapist if symptoms persist.
