Sitting the correct way

Many of us spend most of our hours in the day sitting behind a desk or steering wheel. Which is why it is important to have good posture when sitting.

  • A small, rolled-up towel or a lumbar roll can be used to help you maintain the normal curves in your back when sitting.
  • Aim to distribute your body weight evenly on both hips.
  • Bend your knees at the right angle. Keep them even or slightly higher than your hips. Keep your feet flat on the floor.
  • Try to avoid sitting in the same position for more than 30 minutes.
