Biggest AutoGyro fly-in ever
Some 32 AutoGyros consisting of the MTOsport, Calidus and Cavalon models recently made their way to Vredenoord Game Range and Matoppi Safaris.

Despite the cold and rainy weather, 34 pilots and air hostesses from across the country left from Kitty Hawk for the AutoGyro-Africa Uitskiet Weekend, making it the biggest AutoGyro fly-in ever!

Theuns Eloff, Ninie and Andy Wall from AutoGyro Germany and the ground crew, Nadia, Nadine, and Oupa welcomed the cold and slightly wet travellers at Matoppi. The air was soon abuzz with ‘wet tales’ and gyro speak.

On Saturday the pilots seized the opportunity to explore the mighty Limpopo River and freshly rain-washed veld. A few animals were spotted from the air – all part of the enjoyment of autogyro flying.
