As promised in our previous issue, we share some memorable moments of our 2016 Christmas Party, hosted for the children of Huis Jerusalem.

Some 75 children were treated to a three-course lunch, prepared and served with buckets of love by our dedicated ladies – Karien Starke, Joanita De Klerk, Antonette Posthumus and Alta van Niekerk.

When Santa arrived with plentiful gifts, even he was overwhelmed and humbled by the excitement and pure joy on their little faces. As this eventful day came to an end and we had to part ways with these wonderful and deserving children, it struck home once again – how privileged we are to be a part of making a difference.

With a New Year comes new beginnings and we are over the moon that we managed to assist more than 120 students with their necessary stationery for 2017. Additionally, we were also able to fully kit 40 students from various schools with brand new school wear.
