Choose the stairs

If you have the option, rather take the stairs.

Do you have stairs where you live or work? Then take them. Walking (or running) up the stairs is a great way to get your heart pumping and burning extra calories.

Feeling energetic? Then increase your speed and the number of stairs you take at a time. Taking two steps at a time (if you can do so safely) gives your glutes an extra workout (think tighter buttocks and give it a try!).

If you have no stairs to climb, take a short stroll instead. Taking a 10 or 20 minute brisk walk is a great way to get you out of your desk chair and moving. It is also a good way to relieve stress! And you will feel more energised and be more productive afterwards as well.
