SuperSpark would like to remind IDA members that they still have a few days to respond with regards to the e-toll issue.

SuperSpark writes,

Apart from taxis, no-one is exempt from e-tolls, but the system needs to be managed, especially in the case of dealers.

I read the article about our member, Hannes Botha of Chariot Auto Sales, regarding his e-toll nightmares with interest. Hannes' e-toll account with Sanral stands at over R43 000, but the cars which have clocked up the e-toll debt are long gone and safe and sound with their new and rightful owners. Yet, Sanral maintains Hannes has to pay – and so far has done nothing to assist him in resolving this matter.

Are you in a similar position? Then please email etoll@ida.co.za with your comments and experiences so that the IDA can appoint a committee to prepare action plans and arrange a meeting with Sanral in an effort to have these matters addressed.

The more members we get involved to participate, the stronger the IDA’s case will be on behalf of its members.
