IDA CARE Foundation spoils Bethany House with a carnival on Mandela Day

The IDA CARE Foundation Team wanted to spoil the children at Bethany House in Krugersdorp on Mandela Day and decided to take ‘carnival’ to the children.

The carnival – with Ollie the clown, jumping castles, props, slush puppies, popcorn, ‘vetkoek’, glittery hats, sweetie bags and Milo with marshmallows - quickly chased away the winter blues – it was a huge success and the children had a ball.

The IDA CARE Foundation team ended up with sticky hair and were covered in glitter, but it was worth every minute.

“Thank you to all the children for welcoming us into your home and allowing us to exchange hugs, friendship and love with each of you. We had a really memorable day…”
