With the annual Woman of the Year Award, MISA, through its Women’s Forum, strives to give recognition to women in the retail motor sector.

Anyone can be nominated by a colleague, or even nominate themselves. Candidates do not necessarily have to be the most senior women in the industry, but must make a difference in the lives of others in one way or another and serve as a role model for other women in the industry. They must display the potential to grow and develop personally and professionally, have a strong community and career focus, while still living a balanced life.

While the Women’s Forum facilitates the nomination process, MISA is not involved in deciding who the Regional Finalists are or the naming of the overall winner. This is handled by an independent panel of judges, which carefully evaluates the nominees in each Region and then name the respective Regional Finalists.

In turn, the Regional Finalists are interviewed by an independent panel of judges, who then vote to determine the overall winner of the MISA Woman of the Year Award.
