Congratulations, Kogi!

The winner of the MISA Woman of the Year award was announced at a gala event in Johannesburg on Tuesday night, and I am very pleased to share with you that Kogi Govender of McCarthy Toyota Edwin Swales in Durban took the top honours for 2015.

Kogi is a worthy winner and the panel of independent judges were unanimous in their decision that she would serve as a role model and inspiration to her colleagues in the motor retail sector.

On another note, I am also particularly proud of the money the MISA Women's Forum raised for a good cause with their Bloem to Beaufort Bike Ride at the end of October and am happy to report that our VCT@WORK campaign together with the ILO continues to gain momentum.

We are fast approaching the silly season, so please be extra careful on the roads and act responsibly when attending year-end functions.

All the best, until next time,

Kind regards,

Martlé Keyter, CEO Operations
Motor Industry Staff Association (MISA)
