Kitty Hawk is a great place to be
It gives me great pleasure to bring you a newsletter
packed with positive news!
First on the list is
the recent RV and MG day held at Kitty Hawk, where we had
the privilege of hosting both our own members and “outside”
members such as the MG Car Club. It was a highlight on our
calendar and heart-warming to experience how everything
just gelled together. A special word of thanks goes to everyone
who helped to make this event such a success. Read more
about this in the article below.
We also had the
privilege to host the second Aviation and Security Policing
training programme. This is a great “community service”
initiative driven by Karl Jensen from the EAA and the support
of this educational event will hopefully assist in educating
the SAPS in performing ramp inspections effectively.
Lastly, I would like to thank all our members for making
Kitty Hawk “one of the best organised and friendliest clubs
around” as Wilie Bodenstein from Pilot’s Post describes
us. It is indeed a privilege to be part of the Kitty Hawk
family!
All the best,
Frank van Heerden |
