SuperSpark attended the recent National Secondhand Goods Dealers' Forum.

We received feedback on a number of issues at the meeting including the Secondhand Goods Control System, the implementation of the Act, the communication strategy for secondhand goods and compliance inspections conducted at Associations.

Some of the challenges are station secondhand goods dealer forums, exemptions, training and amendments of the Act.

A more in-depth report will be circulated to our members in due course.

We will be delivering a Visitation Register (SAPS 607) to each of our members before the end of May 2017. Your Service Manager will explain the process going forward, i.e. the movement of vehicles between premises and the reporting thereof.
