In the Western Province Region, the MISA Young Workers’ Forum, MISA Women’s Forum and volunteers joined forces to spread some cheer among the girls of St Georges Home for Girls in aid of Youth Day.

Juan Beck, the representative of the Western Province Region for the Young Workers’ Forum, together with volunteers and MISA Women’s Forum representatives spoilt the girls of St Georges Home for Girls with “boerewors” rolls and a fun day for the 30 girls at the home.

Juan says it was an incredible experience to spend time with the girls. “Our youth must be uplifted, as they are the future of our nation, and even small gestures can go a long way towards ensuring a better future for our youth.
