Dear Member
Transformation is a business imperative in the
South African economy and no less so in the motor industry.
The Motor Industry Staff Association is committed to the process of transformation and earlier this year announced a groundbreaking cooperation initiative with the RMI to increase the participation of people with disabilities in the motor industry and to achieve greater gender equality.
We promote education and training for young workers through
the MISA Young Workers’ Forum and support the involvement
of young workers in their workplace and the community. Similarly, the MISA Women's Forum actively supports women in the motor retail sector and in the communities we serve.
Staying with transformation, we have included two
articles on the topic in this issue: how you can contribute
to the process of transformation and what transformation
is and what it is not.
We all have a role to play - let's work together for everyone’s benefit.
All
the best until next time,
Kind regards,
Martlé Keyter, CEO Operations Motor
Industry Staff Association (MISA)
